Hand-dyed sashiko thread big skein 100m / small skein 40m
A soft cotton indigo-dyed thread with a moderate amount of fuzz that is suitable for sashiko. The sukumo is fermented and each piece is dyed by hand. It is left uneven so that it gives a three-dimensional effect when it is pierced. When washing, brown lye may come out, so we recommend removing the lye before use.
How to remove lye: Soak in 70° water overnight and wash.
Color: light indigo, bright indigo, indigo, dark indigo *Even if the color name is the same, they are not exactly the same color. Colors may vary depending on the lot, so please use this as a rough guide.
