A piece reconstructed from a vintage denim coverall. While preserving the rugged character of workwear denim, elements of handcraft are carefully introduced throughout.
Across the body, boro and military fabrics are individually applied and hand-stitched with sashiko, creating a layered surface where materials from different eras and backgrounds intersect. The sashiko is executed using original indigo-dyed thread, adding depth of color and a quietly restrained expression.
