Sashiko-ori baseball cap. Reproducing the classic shape from before the 1900s.
Sashiko-ori is a thick woven fabric made by using thick threads for the warp to increase strength. In ancient times, it was used for "hikeshi hanten" (firefighter's jackets).The brim is individually dyed with indigo using sukumo, and then garment-dyed with persimmon tannin.
The adjuster belt at the back is made of cowhide.
