This "tubular T-shirt" was the basic shape of T-shirt until the 1980s, and is characterized by the lack of side seams.
The arrival of large circular knitting machines dramatically increased the amount of fabric woven per hour, and the low cost of cutting and sewing in third countries further reduced competitiveness. As a result, tubular T-shirt production has almost completely disappeared in many countries.
Especially in Japan, it was difficult to find a company willing to take on the labor of setting up machines for each size, which made the production of tubular T-shirts not mainstream and even more difficult.
However, with improved quality performance and unremitting efforts, domestic production was finally achieved.
This T-shirt has the most basic short-sleeve T-shirt design and is knitted with combed yarn count 20. The cotton yarn used for sewing is also garment dyed, giving the entire product a unified tone.
