One & Only This pair features sashiko stitching applied to deadstock training shoes issued to the Czechoslovakian military in the 1970s. Vintage Japanese fabrics are hand-sewn onto the heavy canvas upper.
The contractor for this product is NOVESTA, a company based in Partizánske, Slovakia. NOVESTA is one of the few sneaker manufacturers that continues to use the vulcanization method. The thick rubber sole and its design are distinctive, featuring NOVESTA’s signature hiker illustration on the bottom.
The shoes come with additional round indigo-dyed laces.
