This JET CAP is inspired by the Japanese tradition of BORO, born through the repeated acts of patching, stitching, repairing, and continuing to use what already exists.
Layers of different fabrics are brought together and connected through Sashiko stitching, creating a new landscape of textures, colors, and stories.
Rather than pursuing perfect uniformity, it embraces the beauty found in irregularity.
Instead of simply reproducing tradition, BORO is reinterpreted as a contemporary product and connected to modern lifestyles.
