A T-shirt combining vintage fabrics with contemporary materials, joined together through Sashiko stitching.

Inspired by the construction of traditional BORO, in which square pieces of fabric are patched together, allowing a single piece of cloth to be used and preserved over time.

Vintage fabrics from different eras and backgrounds, natural textiles, and modern functional materials are carefully arranged to bring out their individual textures and characteristics, then stitched together by hand, one stitch at a time.

By bringing together aged and new materials, handwork and contemporary textiles within a single garment, this piece expresses JunAle’s concept of BORO / SASHIKO / TECH.

The combination of materials and the character of the Sashiko stitching vary from piece to piece, making each one unique.
