Tajika Takejisaku Scissors B-6
Banshu Ono, located northwest of Kobe, has been known as a hardware town since the Muromachi period, and has been making scissors. Taka Haruo Scissors Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has been operating a workshop in Ono City for four generations since the beginning of the Showa era.
"Takejisaku" is a shape that is carefully made one by one using the old-fashioned manufacturing method of molding and sharpening from iron, and the traditional techniques of Tajika Haruo Scissors Workshop have been inherited.
The base metal is extremely soft iron, and the steel is Shirogami No. 2 composite steel.
Hand-sharpened and reverse-sharpened using cutting scissor technology that has been used for 90 years, the knife is finished to maintain its sharpness for a long time. The handle is made from a round bar that is once forged into a shape that is easy to hold and use. Because it is small and thin, it is suitable for thread cutting and work that requires detailed work.
