Banshu Ono, located northwest of Kobe, has been known as a hardware town since the Muromachi period, and has been making scissors. Tajika Haruo Scissors Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has been operating a workshop in Ono City for four generations since the beginning of the Showa era.

There are many types of scissors, and in general, the ``claw-blade'' type is commonly used in the East region, and the ``long-blade'' type is commonly used in the West region. This is a ``claw-blade'' with a shorter blade length than the long type.

This is Tajika's original, which is characterized by a slightly thinner cutting edge.
