Based on a vintage French work jacket, this one-of-a-kind piece is crafted by layering Japanese antique fabrics on the front body, back body, sleeves, and collar, all finished entirely with hand stitching.
The reinforcing fabrics used—such as katazome-dyed cloth and indigo-dyed textiles—are traditional Japanese materials that carry a deep character born from the passage of time. Embracing the “traces of wear” and the “accumulation of time” unique to each fabric, the piece is carefully reconstructed using only needle and thread.
